Ah theres nothing like a night in with a bottle of wine and a standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD) movie, well thats what Sony (and Microsoft) think. The latest media addition to the do-everything machine is one that aims to do away with your jaunt to your local rental store. The range of movies available at launch is impressive, over 500 movies, both old and new. Fancy the new Wolverine movie or perhaps Tom Hanks deciphering some cryptic theologian mystery, its all here and more.
From a personal perspective I can think of better things to waste my broadband on. However I can also see the attraction, especially as the nights draw in and the cold bite of winters takes hold on your frail bones. Now Mr Sony all you need to do is deliver Wonka vision for my popcorn and ice-cream and I will never need to leave the house.
